I was wondering if anyone had one of the Edelbrock 2691 adaptors, if so here are a few questions.

The adaptor looks like it bolts down to the intake using the outside holes and the inner holes are used for mounting the Thermoquad.

My main question is, do the studs for the TQ thread into the adaptor, or is it like the other adaptors that use a captive bolt from underneath. The other possible way is that the TQ studs would pass through the adaptor and use a manifolds inner pattern holes.

I am doing as much as I can to get ready to do the install and conversion as problem free as possible ..and on a really tight budget. Anyway, I was looking around for a rebuild kit for my Holley..and as all might know, sometimes it is hard to tell what model it is so I took a bunch of pics and sent them to holley which the question of what rebuild kit I should use.
Holley sent me the model number back and said it woulodn’t work on the 360 ..it was for a 73-74 chevy application.

Last week we swapped an edelbrock 500cfm to a 1406 600cfm. What is the best method on setting the choke on the edelbrock performer carbs? Right now the little notch on the black wheel is near the middle. Seems like it takes a tad to long to warm up after sitting several days. What way do I turn the wheel to speed this process up?

Also wanted to know everyones method of starting their car after sitting for several days? I always give one full pump before turning the key. If it dosn’t turn over…

im running a comp 140 pump with a comp 140 filter in between the tank and pump. the canister filter has two in and two out ports. does anyone see a problem if i run the regulator return line back to the filters second inlet since its before the pump. I had to adda 1/2 inch pickup on my tank and would like to run a half inch return. thanks for all replys

Can someone tell me if I got ripped off? I bought a 6 pack manifold and carbs at a mopar swap meet.
I got the numbers off of the carbs but cant find them on any list I have tried.

Is there anyone on here who is close to the Southeast area of Wisconsin? I had my AFB carb rebuilt buy a local guy and we had agreed that once he came over and tuned the carb, after I reinstalled it, we would pay him for the rebuild labor. I have left the guy a message just about every week and have gotten no response back. I am not a carb guy and don’t want to mess the rebuild up. Is any close willing to come out and help me get this carb tuned? I haven’t even turned it over yet to see how it…
