My engine is 10.5 to 1 cr and the gas we have around here is 87 octane. Can i use this gas safely or is there a way to raise the octane of this gas. I can get 91 but I have to drive almost 50 miles.

I’ve been offered an Offenhauser Dual Port intake manifold for cheap. I’m building a 360 looking for good low end torque and mid range power. I was wondering if anyone had ever used this type of manifold before. Any past experiences and opinions can be helpful information in order to take a decision on buying or not. Thanks!

Have stock 340-4bbl 4spd 391 gears Duster. Had original Carter AVS carb. After spending bucks and a lot of time, rebuilding, replacing, adjusting and tweaking I could not get it to idle and run right. I’m convinced that a 40 year old carb warps, melts, and breaks down after a long period of time.

I just bought a new OEM replacement Fuel tank for my 67 dart. is there any prep work that i need to do to the gas tank? like sealing it or anything like that?

when it came out of the box it was oily. my guess is that since its fresh metal, they oiled it so that it wouldn’t rust. is this correct? it feels sort of like wd-40.

I’ve read a lot of posts and my head is spinning. Could somebody who owns a similar year please tell me what brand gauge you used for Anmeter, Water Temp, Fuel and Oil pressure. Specifically, Fuel. I’m in the process of getting a 72 Scamp up and running after sitting for eight years in a backyard and I’m in need of a little help.
