After having the car sit in the garage for almost a year I finally got the engine all back together and tried to fire it up this weekend. Once I put a decent battery in, it would crank but not fire. I sprayed some starting fluid in the carb, it’d catch like it was going to start but never would.

No matter how much I pumped the pedal I never saw any gas coming out of the squirters. So I pulled off the fuel line at the carb, dry. I pulled off the line that comes from the fuel cell to the fuel…

i have a 383 in my 70 dart and has rebuilt stock heads, .545 comp cam, bored 30 over, 3000/3200 stall. other than that its stock. my question is what size carb do i need. im thinkin a 750 edelbrock with an electric choke. too big? should i go with a manual choke? any suggestions? thanks.

Has anyone pulled the gas tank on a 67-68 Barracuda fastback? I replaced the one on my ragtop, but on the fastback, the filler tube goes under the rear interior platform. I gave it a luke-warm attempt, but didn’t get too far. Need to replace the gas tank filler tube grommet.

I have a vane style electric fuel pump which works fine, but man is it noisy as all get out, and it surges from more to less quiet, sometimes sounds like it it straining and drives me insane.
Luckily my exhaust is loud as hell, but soon to be more subdued with a real exhaust system so I was looking into a similar pump but one less quiet.

I saw that holley makes a black pump that uses the gerotor style internals that is supposed to be more efficient and quiet plus good for street/strip.

Will the slant 6 cable be adequate? I remember someone telling me it doesn’t pull enough or move enough or something along those lines…

Looks like i have to replace my fuel sending unit. Called local parts store and found out that there are 2 different sizes…don’t know which one to buy but they are the same price.

Does anyone know the size needed for a 68 Dart? or a way to find out the size without having to take the old one out first?
