So I am assembling the 360 I purchased from a guy who got it from an engine house. He had it partly torn down so I am checking it over as I assemble it.
When I got to the last rod bearing...I found this bronze looking blob on the surface of the bearing. It is raised a bit cuz I can feel it. I checked the crank journal and it is clean.
I haven't done any bearing work in 25 years.....so obviously I am like a newbie all over again.
This just did not seem right to me....thoughts?
