Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and hope to be able to get help and be of help here. I’ve lived in Boise Id. for 15 years. I own two 1967 Barracuda coupes one is a formula S 383 with a TF727 410 gears the other is a 273 sb AC
car both are floor console cars. The “S” car is being disassembled for paint at this time and the small block car is for reassembly reference. I will need knowledge and advice as I’ve never taken a car apart this far before, it is scary. I don’t want to take up too…

On my 67 Barracuda, there is a “Barracuda” nameplate on the center trunk trim piece. It is pretty rough and I am rebuilding the car, rechroming parts, or buying new. The nameplate is about 10″ long but it doesnt’ look like anyone is repopping it. I see there is a nameplate for the fender(didn’t have one on my car) in some catalogs. Does anyone make these rear nameplates or will the fender one work? What have you guys done?

So. . . I FINALLY found a decent machine shop, spent the better part of an hour at there BSing with a guy who actually knew mopars, imagine that! Heres what I’m working with:
318 (stock bottom end, for now) Comp 268 cam, MP springs, edelbrock performer and 4bbl 600 carb, headers into 2 1/2 duels.
I was going to get the heads buzzed about 30-40 thous to bump up my compression. The guy quoted $55 per head for 30 thous, but he said I’d be much better off spending $125 and getting the heads hot…

I am thinking about me and my son taking my 73 dart to the track this weekend. o stock heads rebuilt with springs to match the cam
