help me pick some magnum 408 stroker parts

well I posed a few days ago about how much lift a stock set of roller lifters can take and although I heard opinions in both directions, I have decided to go ahead and buy new roller lifters. anyway, I came into about another $2000 today when I sold an atv that I had sitting around and decided to try and finish collecting all the remaining parts for my motor build. here is my shopping list....
roller cam
roller lifters
roller rockers
heavy duty push rods
head bolts
crank stud kit
balancer
windage tray
gaskets
oil pan

I have a friend who runs currently an automotive technical institute and he has also run a family owned speed shop/machine shop for like 30 years. he also has a blown alcohol altered that runs low 7's and he builds blowers and blower motors for everyone in town. anyway, where he works they have a computer program for cam selection. you enter the weight of the car, stall speed , rear end gears , cubic inches , compression ratio and a few other things and it will spit out what cam specs would be best for that combo and estimated HP. kinda cool. anyway, he punched all my info in and has found the ideal cam for my setup. guess its a comp cams unit (havent picked up the print out yet) so I have the cam selection delt with but all the other parts above I still have to order. guess I am going to try and get everything from summit and will probably go with comp cams roller lifters since its their cam. I am told with these edelbrock performer rpm heads for magnum engines that I can actually run small block chevy 3/8 rocker arms? anyway I am looking at harland sharp 1.5 aluminum roller rockers. are they decent? also wondering if I should mess with a windage tray and will a tray fit in my stock pan or do I need a pan too?? cant find an aftermarket pan for magnum 360 on summit's site. would like a milodon or equal and I have a 72 scamp. gonna go with arp crank studs and arp head bolts. not sure what I will need for push rods yet. also , gaskets..... want something better than plain blue felpro head gaskets. someone told me about a head gasket with something called a fire ring? said they have "I believe" a copper o ring or crush ring of some kind right in a composite gasket? anyone heard of these? as for a balancer, I am looking at an ATI super damper but again have only been able to find them for externally balanced magnums and my new rotating assembly will be internally balanced. also , I guess I need a flexplate for an internally balanced motor and the externally balanced one I just purchased is now useless to me, correct? anyway, if anyone has any opinions on any of these parts I am considering or ony ifo to help me out please speak up. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks
