Console pics

I am looking for some of your console pics, installed in car.

68 Polara Rewire Ammeter

Hi! I’m in the process of eliminating the mess caused by the Ammeter. So far I’ve ran a 10 Ga. wire from the alternator to the battery with a 100 amp maxi fuse proir to the battery. I plan on replacing the ammeter wiring through the bulkhead. I suppose I have to if I want the accessories to have power. 1969 300’s Headlight Doors Won’t Drop – Where should I look first?

I have had my 1969 300 convertible for forty years. I have never had a headlight door issue until a couple of weeks ago. The doors stay up. If I manually lower them using the “emergency” system, the pop up again when the car is powered up. They are up when the power is on or off.

I’ve never worked on this type of issue before, and any advice/suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Driving a car around with the headlight doors stuck in the up position is like driving a vintage…
