Vintage bikes (Stingrays, lowriders, muscle, ect)

I went to the Model A swpmeet in Puyallup yesterday. I didn't really find anything worth buying that I needed. I got a 57 chevy center grill/blinker bar for 20 bucks thinking that it may fit between the caddy dagmars on the 48 chevy but it is way too wide so it will hang on the wall until I find a use for it.

Nikki has been bugging me for years that she wants a lowrider/muscle bike so I have been keeping my eye open for one and I found it. The guy wanted 70 bucks for it so I walked off, came back twice, waited for him to leave his stall and his buddies sold it to me for 30 bucks! LOL
It is a 1972 AMF Renegade (poor mans Stingray). It needs some work but it is all original with the stock hub, chain guard, chrome fenders, sissy bar, solid forks and stock (bent) wheels. It even has a license sticker from Greeley,Co from 1972. We are ordering parts from www.bicycledesigner.com

She is getting a chrome 90* springer front forks, red metal flake grips and banana seat, new headset and crank bearings, 68 spoke 16" chrome wheels and some wide white wall tires. It will get sanded down, primed and painted red with a bunch of Roth Flake in it. I told her that it is her project because I have my BMX and her 48 to work on. She is all excited and cant wait to start on it.

I will post some pics as she gets more work done.
Post some pics of yours if you have or had one.
