ok, i have my 72 plymouth duster for sale, or trade. me and mike, aka, badlilred, decided to do a trade. him giving me his # matching 72 34 3 speed duster and boot for my ride.
once i got there, i started to look his car over. i know i was not buying a trailer queen, and knew it needed full restoration.
i did oa once over on the car, but then, as he kept talking, i had a weird feeling. i decided to do another closer look at the car.
AHHHHH, FRAME RAIL IS ROTTED OUT ON PASSENGER SIDE
now, when we talked on the phone, i was told there is no rust in the rails.
so, as soon as i seen this, i decided that i was no longer going to make the trade. so, as i ask him about the rotted rail, his answer was " oh, it is a quick fix". not a good answer to me. so, then he goes to state" oh, your car is not what you said it is either". i asked, what do you mean? he says" oh, well the bottoms of the doors are rusted", and you did not tell me about that." he is right. i did not, as i cleaned the whole area, and prepped so that rust will not continue to eat at it. there was no rust in the door skin whatsoever, and the doors shut like new, so i figured if i stop it from rusting, they will last another 40 years like they are.
also, in order to see any of it, you must lay on the ground to see it.
I know you are sitting here, and wondering why i am airing my laundry. so here is the scoop.
you see, if you ever get to know mike, he is like a little child. he will do anything to get what he wants. he wanted my black duster, and he wanted this car.
DO NOT FORGET MIKE, I CHOSE NOT TO DO THE DEAL WITH YOU. and that must eat you up inside. to be frank, i would not give you 1,000.00 for that yellow duster 340-3 speed. it is not worth it. all it is good for is the drivetrain.
the reason for this post is, i had intrested parties for my duster. and like a snkae that he is, went and p'med them, and told them that my frame rails are rotted, and other stuff.
there is not a lick of rust in my rails. HOW BOUT YOURS MIKE????????????

i will not sit here and call you out on how much of a piece of turd you are, and that you thought you were going to pull off the rotted frames on me.
