SoCal Snow – Really

This is what the San Gabriel mountains looked like this morning after yesterdays storm.
The highest peak is Mt. San Antonio (also known locally as Mt. Baldy) at 10,068 ft. They received 12-15 in. of snow last night down to about 4,000 feet. Their ski area currently has a 36"-60" base. Other local ski areas within a 2-hour drive from Orange County currently report a packed powder base of 48"-84".
Mammoth, about a 6-hour drive, reports a powder/packed powder base ranging from 98"-135".

Kinda cool at mid-50s today here in OC, but the forecast is mid-70s for the weekend and the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona.
