Confused? I sure am.
Found this POS GPS device, that won't boot. A Googarl shows it was made somewhere in China ONLY for Staples
It MUST have an SD card in place to boot. (Removed, it prompts you to "insert")
With the SD card inserted, it says "system loading" FOREVER
Omnitech model 16878-US The card has the Omnitech label, so it came with
A Googarl shows all support links / downloads I can find are missing/ broken
A suspicious file in the card makes me think this card was "borrowed" for some other use, and I'd like to format the card BUT
It appears WinCE devices use a SPECIAL "TFAT" format and MicroSHIT in their usual wisdom---
evidently did not think we would need this in a desktop. I've found you can apparently format the thing FROM A CE DEVICE of which I do not have one working!!!
Anyone have experience with this, and is there a format tool/ software EITHER for Whinehozed7 or Linux Mint that will accomplish this task?
