Complete 440 engine and trans for sale

I have a complete 440 engine with all the brackets, pulleys, Holley carb, etc. for sale. As far as I can tell it’s a 72 engine with H 440 stamped on the front pad. The engine is still in the car (70 Cuda) so I can’t tell what the block or head casting date is yet. I also have the 727 trans and headers to go with the whole thing. The engine ran up until a couple of months ago when the owner put the car in his garage. I don’t know mileage or condition of the internals. I’d like to get $750 for…

Another LCA Question

I have the lower control arms removed so that I can clean them up, paint them and replace the bushings. After removing the bushing, can the “torsion bar socket” and “ear” come apart from the LCA?
Thanks,

Dash dueling

I purchased a dash cap from Year One and it does not cover my dash entirely on the lower corners. I spoke to Year One about it and they said that they shipped the right one for my application which is a 67 Ply Cuda. The guy told me that the company that makes them is DashCaps.com and he looked on the website and found that I indeed have the right one which is #918.

Lottery winner

A woman came home, screeching her car into the driveway, and ran into the house.
She slammed the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, ‘Honey, pack your bags. I won the lottery!’
The husband said, ‘Oh my God! What should I pack, beach stuff or mountain stuff?’
‘Doesn’t matter,’ she said. ‘Just get out.’ :thebirdm:

Husband’s birthday – help me find these parts?

Hi – I just registered and my husband doesn’t know about this site yet – I’ll tell him about it after his birthday (about 6 weeks) 😉 after I can see if I can surprise him with THE BEST present in the world ! He recently bought a 1973 Duster to restore. He’s a dedicated Mopar guy who went without one for the last 5 years because he sold his beloved Barracuda of ten years to do some much needed house repairs. I have felt so guilty that he had to do that and I really want to surprise him with…

Driveshaft length question.

I got my driveshaft back from the shop.

When I initially called them they wanted such and such measurements.
I gave them the measurements they wanted but then when I got there they wanted to know how much of the splined output shaft stuck out of the rear of the case.

I remembered it was about 1/2 inch to 1 inch.

Okay cool he says.

When I installed the shaft the front yoke bottomed out into the output shaft and I barely had enough room to squeeze the rear U-joint onto the rear yoke.

has anyone used this company??

has ne 1 used this company for dash restoration the prices seem far
