I have a 72 scamp that i want to go from /6 to SB or BB. I would also like to go from auto on column to 4 on floor. I need to know a list of parts to start hunting down. Als o what year models should i look for. Thanks

I just picked up a running 77 440 out of a motorhome. Gonna drop it in my Valiant in more-or-less stock form just to get my car on the road and have something to play with.

Does anyone have any info on the engine specs for this engine? Did they have any extra performance goodies in them compared to the other low-compression anchors of it’s day? I am aware of the extra cooling passages in the heads.

Compression is 8.2:1 on the other 440s of this year…Is it any higher on these motorhome…

I am thinking of selling my Toy car, my 1964 Valiant Signet,
which came from the factory with a 273 2bbl. Pushbutton Auto,
and Sure Grip 2.93 rear 7.25″.

I had a reproduction window sticker made, that lists the options;
but they put the wrong dealership on it.
