70 440gtx.. is 14.5-14.7 volts at 2000rpm+ normal?

1970 gtx, 440ci, stock alternator, volt regulator, coil, etc, distributor does not have points any longer (aftermarket but not sure which one).. starts and runs good, but is 14.5-14.8vt normal when above idle at highway speed?
at idle i see 12.8-13vt…

Distributor rebuild

I was having some trouble getting consistent dwell readings and discovered my distributor bushings to be worn out.
While waiting for parts I decided to disassemble it. After removing the roll pin for the spacer, I discovered 2 holes in the shaft.

Good morning all…

Before I order, can you please confirm that these 158 bulbs look right? The FSM states 158’s, but for some reason I thought the bulbs were push and turn sockets, not T10.

65 Imperial with a 413 CI that cranks but won’t start

I have a 65 Imperial with a 413 that cranks but wont start :( I’ve checked / changed the ballast resistor, carberator, coil, points & rotor. The only thing I haven’t changed is the plugs and wires. And it still won’t start. Yes, it’s getting fuel. I even tried the +battery to the +coil trick per @Big_John and it still wont start. I’m lost for words and/or ideas. I checked the color of the spark from the cap … It’s yellow/orange… Any and all assistance will be greatly…
