I was having some trouble getting consistent dwell readings and discovered my distributor bushings to be worn out.
While waiting for parts I decided to disassemble it. After removing the roll pin for the spacer, I discovered 2 holes in the shaft.

no power to my compressor clutch

I am re-installing the a/c system in my 1968 New Yorker. I don’t have power going to the compressor clutch with a/c turned on. In my wiring diagram it shows a “time delay relay ” between the switch and the clutch. Where is this relay? Can it be bypassed?

Diamond Back redline tires

I purchased a 1968 New yorker from a member here and the tires are 11 years old. I want to install a set of Magnum 500’s.
I really would like a set of redline tires for it but the price is making me cringe.
Before I spend the money, has anyone here had any experience, good or bad with these tires?
It seems the Diamond Back 3’s are BR Goodrich radial T/A’s and the 235/75/15’s are $339 each
The Diamond Back 1’s look to made from a Nexan tire and the 235/75/15″s are $269 each

1968 water valve NOT auto temp.

I think my 68 New Yorker needs a water valve. I cannot shut off the heat. Hot water flows through it no matter the position of the lever. The lever on the valve does move.

64 Newport rubber door seals

I cannot seem to find a source for the rubber door seals for my 64 Newport. Does anyone know of supplier for these?
