My wife bought a 69 Valiant a while back and wants it rebuilt into a /6 driver. Most all the wiring is hacked up or missing. It was an ex big block bracket car. I have the complete wiring harnesses (under dash, engine compartment and tail light), steering column, gauge cluster etc. from a 73 Duster. I'm thinking there would be pluses in swapping the whole shebang into the Valiant, such as elec. ignition and voltage regular, lockable column. I don't have a heater box yet and I'm not sure which year to look for.
I know big block to slant dosen't sound exciting but that's what she wants and we already have everthing to get her on the road in storage.
So will this wiring swap work, what do you folks think? Your comments and expertise would be greatly appreciated.
