1967 Barracuda Notchback for sale

Well, I am still raising funds for my dog's knee surgery and have to at least offer up my Barracuda for sale.

This is a 1967 hardtop or coupe or notchback depending upon your views. Super 225 Slant Six, ordered that way, vinyl top, bucket seat console car.

It is 100% there but needs TLC to bring her all the way back to life.

I have a clear title in my name, keys, new gas tank, strap, water pump, plugs, fuel & air filters, upper and lower radiator hoses etc. into her already. She cranks but does not start, no spark, I suspect it is the alternator gauge but have not had time to test. I installed a used engine harness and converted it to electronic ignition.

I am third owner of the car, second owner owned it for over 26 years but parked it in his garage for most of that time because he forgot to tighten the fuel line clamp after he installed a new pump and started an engine fire. He cooked the original harness and spark plug wires but no other real damage. The engine will need new freeze plugs, one leaks (found the leak after filling the antifreeze, trickled back out but the radiator does not leak).

I have a replacement hood and valance that will go with the car along with a correct Barracuda jack assembly I purchased this past summer at Carlisle. I also purchased a very good backup light assembly that will go with the car while there as well.

I have the original Certicard from the original owner but have not looked for build sheet, I assume it is still in the car as this car has not been taken apart.

Since the attached photos wer taken, I performed most of the new part installation as well as replaced the right rear tail light assembly with a good used one, installed the right front headlight trim bezel and various other things to get her more to a running/complete presentation.

Please send me a PM with your phone number and I will call you to better describe. I am asking for $1600 and am taking a bit of a loss but need the $$.

I really don't want to sell this car as I purchased it to restore/modify (340 engine, 727, 8.75" conversion) for my son who is turning 3 December 26th but tough times call for tougher decisions and being out of work for a year does not make the decision any easier.

Thanx for looking, Jim.
