I have no intention to ever restore the car but I want to maintain 62,000 mile well cared for look.
The story goes... The second owner put some rally wheels on the car. He thought it would be cool to paint all the rear trim the same dark silver as the wheels. The car was like that for 30+ years.
Today I took some stripper and removed all the old paint from the rear trim and tail light housings. The housings need to be re chromed but damn it looks so much better. Its nice to have the black, chrome and dull silver back on the rear.
Now if I can just find my reflective red sticker I can pull it all off and re do the red. I also repainted the black on the "Barracuda" emblem.
