I am experiencing a bit of confusion here. I am trying to install a Ron Francis headlight switch (HL-07 if that helps). The problem I am having is this...when I turn the parking lights on I get front and rear parking lights and dash lights. The first part of the problem is that the tail lights dim with the dash lights. The second part is when I pull the knob out all the way for headlights, the headlights come on and all the rest of the light shut off. As far as I can tell all the wires are connected to the correct terminals. When I direct power each wire, the correct lights come on.
