Ok I will start, I know this story will pale compared to some of yours, but it has been a long A Body road for me. I have just always loved A bodys. 8)
My second car, Christmas of 1966, I was 16, got a 64 Barracuda 273 2 bbl (no 4 bbl yet) 4 speed, white with red guts and the payment book. (It had been a repo at the bank)
Totally went crazy, got in ticket trouble, joined the Navy, as Nam was going on.
Met a gal (still my wife 38 years later) that had a yellow 67 Dart GT vert, and we get married after knowing each other 3 weeks. (the car!) Her dad had a 67 Sport Fury.
We made a home, and I got to buy a 65 Barracuda S, auto, white with black guts.
Get out of the Navy and I buy an auto 65 Barracuda S, Yellow with black guts.
