a buddy brought me a 727 that has the tail shaft bent at approx a 45 deg angle, broken tail housing and gov support broken. i air checked it before disassembly, and it air checks good. band and clutches are good. i am used to griner brakes but have never seen 1 with this style solenoid. also the separator plate is an 1/8 alum plate that has been cut out with a jig saw and cleaned up with a wizzer tool. please note the thick alum block that the solenoid is attached to. i would like to know...
