Updates On GMachine Dart GT

I have not posted in a while here due to the time involved opening a new shop. Needless to say, even a small scale shop isn an ordeal to get up and running. I have a web page temporarily while I get some other things sorted out (Bergmanautocraft.com). I will be selling certain parts, however I am not looking to be yet another guy selling the same pieces as everyone else. At that point it becomes a commodity sale and the lowest price wins.

I have also been working on the installation of the Delphi 600 steering box on the Dart, and have taken the first test drive this morning. So far, very impressive. I have been doing a step by step which will be out in Mopar Action shortly. I've also been testing some differently valved shocks for the front, which are sorely needed. Strangely, nobody has done a steel body shock with proper valving for large torsion bars. The current RCDs were not designed for this, why I don't know. I've also changed rear springs for the fourth time and believe now I have the right combination. A 1.25" hollow front bar rounds out the package. I had purchased a 1.5" hollow Hotchkiss bar after speaking to them about fitment. I was told it fit the 70-72 lower arms with tabs, not. Its designed for the later arms, hence the large diameter to make up for the inboard mounting location.

My goals for the parts side of Bergman Auto Craft, Inc is to provide niche products or modified products that I have personal experience using. This is not my primary revenue stream, so I can afford to be more specialized than a mass reseller.

Please be patient as I gather pictures and video as a lot has happened in the last few months.

Stay tuned!!!
