I am going to convert my 1967 273 from the stock 2-Bbl to an LD4B with an Eddy 1406 (600 cfm) carb soon. For one, I know I need to change out throttle cable bracket.
Classic Industries shows a Throttle Cable Mounting Bracket (MF224) that is said to be used for 1968-1970 small block, 4 Bbl applications. Is there any reason this will not work for my 1967? I was thinking the 67 and up were all similar?
Has anyone tried this part or does anyone know if it should work or not for my application?
