Super Bee question

I recently joined this form as I acquired a 1969 Super Bee that was left in a storage unit. I was not given the title to the car as the owner of the storage unit property did not want to go through the work and he just wanted to scrap it. I however, could not let that happen. From what I can tell this car has the original 383 and transmission in it. I haven't confirmed this yet however. The motor still turns over (no keys either so I jumped the starter but have not tried to start it). The car was originally green but, has since been primed. the interior for the most part is intact. Floor boards are solid and so is the trunk pan. I was able to see when the car was last registered which was in 1992 and I know that the car was in the same unit for at least 10 years. I guess what this long winded explanation of the car is about is I am not sure what to do with this car. I know its worth the time to try and get the title. But... I wanted to ask this group is what do you think would be my options if I couldn't get the title.
