I sent my 1974 distributor to Ray for a rebuild and a mild recurve. It’s a good thing I did, the shaft bushing fell apart in his hand when he took it apart. He cleaned everything and replaced all plastic parts with metal ones. Checked all tolerances and replaced all old parts with new ones. He also sent me a spec sheet with “before� and “after� numbers for mechanical and vacuum advance. The distributor came back looking better than brand new.
