Not a Mopar but it is my baby. I bought this 91 S10 8 years ago for $800.00. It had 85,000 miles on it. The guy who I dealt with who owned a local junk yard told me one day that his father in law had just died and he needed to get rid of it so when I asked him how much, I had no choice but to but it. I figured I would flip it and make some money on it. I started driving it and liked it. I have ran the crap out of this truck and the only thing I have done to it is new tires and a tune up. 2 years ago I was driving down one of the back roads here and the road was wet and this truck has the 4.3 in it. lot of power and no weight in the rear. It spun me around and took me over an embankment into a pole. It messed up the bed side pretty bad. I figured it was done for. got it out and back home. pulled it out as best I could and have been driving it for the past couple of years like that. 2 weeks ago I went to a local Chevy dealer, ( sorry but I like Chevy trucks ) and was going to buy a 2015 Silverado. All I had to do was sign the papers.
Came back home without the truck. Backed the S10 in the garage and Tyler and I went to work. This truck had rust and I was ready to pull the cab and bed and use the chassis for a rod project. I just pulled it out of the garage this morning. Body work done. New bumpers, grill, window sweeps, air dam, and a few other goodies. Have new dash cover coming along with new tail lights. And the best part...........no payments.
