In regards to a 340, I thought I'd heard there was a right and left rocker arm. When I took the 340 apart, I noticed that some of the rockers looked like they were not sitting square on the valve tips, and the pushrods were very close to the guides, almost touching. I'd like to put them back together properly, can anyone tell me or guide me to a drawing of how they go together. When I built my 340 stroker a while back, and put my roller rockers and spacers on, there was no movement at all between the rockers. However, this is not the case on this factory 340. Also, the rockers do not have any markings on them that say left or right, and they are the stock stamped rockers.
