This may seem to be a silly question but here goes. I am sending the radio out for repair for my 1964 Chrysler Newport. The car is in storage 20 miles away so I cant check the radio power feed. . Is the radio 12 or 6 volt? I know the car is 12 volt but the gauges run on 6 volt. I think I remember the orange wire going to the radio as having less than 12 volts when I temporarily installed a modern radio a few years back but cant really remember. I have checked a few on line wiring diagrams...
