Purchased a Procomp HEI distributor off e-bay, figured i'd give it a try, its the big cap'd version with the coil in the cap, well its a POS, it doesn't fire, theres been talk on other boards of the module being bad right OOTB, now some others are useing there "drop in & go" dizzys that use an external coil with good results, are any of you useing either one of these distributors, if so, are you having any issues with them? The main construction seems really good, but the electronics seem poor, the module on this unit is a flat micro chip board, i'm going to call Procomp today & see what they will do for me if anything, they do have replacement modules & pick-up coils for about 10.00 each.
Just be aware of these HEI units if your planning on saving a buck, you most likely will be disapointed.
