I'm tired of looking at my paint finish in the sunlight. It has multiple coats and no clear coat. It's a great 20 foot car but it has dirt pimples and what I call an alligator or checkered appearance when viewed at certain at certain angles. I want to sand it down with wet 1500 in a circular motion, then wet 2000 in a circular motion finishing up with a straight line motion. Then I want to compound it in a circular motion and finish up in a straight line motion. Is that the way to do it?
