Poor Man’s Rear JIG
I’m trying to weld my Axle Tubes, and yes I’m trying to pinch pennies where I can to help save for that “GAS” that the Dart will eventually be sucking down. Is there a way to get the tubes aligned for welding without spending a small fortune on a Jig?
One idea I had was to a length of pipe, or perhaps tacking on angle iron onto the individual tube sections, to hold them in alignment, and then welding up the seam. I could then cut the tacks, and finish the weld. Also, would leaving the…
volt gage reading??
At an idle my volt gage reads to the negative a bit but when I increase the idle the volt reading goes positive, am I not charging correctly? Belt is tight and no slipping.

Max Wedge Heads ??
I’m not real sure of the physical differeence in the heads for a 413 62 model heads. The compression varied depending on the motor. One was 13.5 and the other was 11. Does any of you know where one could see a pic of heads in question lying side by side, top and bottom so that i might become better educated before i start spending my money on something that isn’t the real thing. My I hate computers rant
Spent the whole weekend setting up a new wireless router so I can use my laptop in the garage. Bought an HP Pavillion a couple of years ago while I was activated with the reserves. This was a pretty expensive computer too. Used it for a year, came home and it crashed on me. Sent it back to HP to have a new hard drive put in, mind you it was 2 months out of warranty, cost me $700 after it was all said and done. Got it back and never used it until now.
