Another 75hp please

Hi folks,

My ’72 Duster has a 1992 MP 360/300hp Commando (pre-Magnum series for you younger members) crate engine; B/G 625 cfm RD carb, TTI long tubes and K&N filter. It’s a 4spd 833 with 3.23 8.75″ rear.

I like the car and as it is a street car (NOT a DD though) it’s pretty much fast enough. How fast? Well, certainly not real fast and not fast enough to impress anyone here I would think – and I am not trying to; just want to inform is all. The best way to put it that it can just barely edge…

Misc conversion Qs

Can I use bolts that hold the flex plate to the crank to bolt the flywheel to the crank or are they too short?

Will some “mildly scuffed” teeth on the starter gear of the flywheel cause starter engagement problems? the front edges of mine look rounded on one side and burred on the other should I file the burs off?

Should I use a problem solver U-joint for the trans yoke to driveshaft OR should I get a larger yoke with the small u-joint part OR should I get the front of the driveshaft replaced…

Sheetmetal

I just noticed while ordering front suspension stuff that year One is no longer offering the rear quarter sections and wheelwell sections for the 66 cuda?

This causes a crisis for me as I havnt found anyone else who has sections for this 1 year style.

Does anyone know where these items can be located? Laysons doesnt have them…….
I’m at a loss

New/Old Car Joys/Blues

I’ll post some pics soon, but I’ll need a lot of help (information) with this so I’m sure you’ll see me ask some really basic (ie stupid) questions. My first question is “*does anybody know where to get repair manuals or something similar*?” I’m looking to start off with just basic…

Ignition Problems

I have been working to restore my son’s 1974 Dart Swinger while he is on temporary duty assignment with the Air Force. I have removed the front fenders, hood and grill to finish some body work and to repair holes around the window, but since I have removed the fenders, I have not been able to start the car.

I have checked and replaced both the coil and the ballast resistor, but not spark is coming from the coil. I have checked with a light test and power is going to the coils positive and…

Who I named my car after

Most of the young guns has never seen the western I enjoyed watching
as a child, The High Chaparral .
A strong family and that pulled together to get a job dun.
Well here she is Victoria
She will always remind me of my mother.
Strong and determined :happy10:
Her real name was Linda Cristal

As you can see she is a little lady but strong like my Victoria.
