What would you do?
Ok I have about 4-5 gallons in the Duster. My plan is to pull the motor out when I run out of gas. The reason is I need a 904 and since I cant find one I might as well use mine. Or do you guys think I should just continue to drive it until the motor is together and I find another transmission? Please let me know

The original owner E-Mailed me a few of the pictures he is sending me. One was taken in 1969 right after he bought the car and the other 3 are from 1970 after he completed the mods to “make it the fastest car in Baltimore”. I still can’t believe I finally found him and that he has all this great stuff. Can’t wait to see the movies (which he has not found yet).

Will It Pass Tech?
Is there anyone else on now that can answer a question for me? Is an aluminum driveshaft safety loop legal in NHRA. There is a guy on Ebay with one for sale. Bidding ends in 7 hours. I thought steel was required.

Saw some 71 Demon buckets in CL San Antonio, called the guy and got directions it was 70 miles one way. Thought it would be a nice cruise if nothing else. Got there and they were in fact 71 seats, he was a car guy (painter) so we shot the breeze for about an hour and he then says well since the seats have a few more rips than I remember just give $100 and take them and I’ll find the console and get it to you!!!! 273 340 interchange??
Looking for some help here.Have a few questions. Probably stupid questions but need to ask. I have a chance to pick up a ’73 340 std. bore bare block. Are all the 340 blocks(68-73) the same? What are 340 blocks worth? I have two ’67 273’s(one 4bbl. and one 2 bbl.) complete motors. Does the 273 4bbl. and 2 bbl. use the same crank? I was told they are both forged steel. Not sure.Thinking of using one of the 273 cranks in the 340. Will the crank from the 273 motor work in the ’73 340 motor? Will…
