Vavetrain noise
Have had my car now for 2 months and got everything pretty much set up. Got the timing and carb right, thanks to this forum….put a 4:10 rear in this weekend and went for a nice long drive.
One more thing is buggin’ me, though. Valvetrain noise. Not real bad, kinda reminds me of my old DZ 302(solid lifters), but I know this Purple cam is hydraulic AND there’s no adjustment like on a hydraulic Chev rocker.
My Mopar buddy says 340’s are known for it. I’m not quite buyin’ it.
