I have the 225ci slant 6 2bbl and 904 out of my 71 scamp if anyone in the NJ area is interested. The Car only has 44000 orig miles and ran great when i pulled it a few months back. Power steering pump still attached and bracket for sanden a/c compressor (But using compressor in my 440 swap). Ok I need all you tranny goo-rue to help. Ok, question is I have a 1951 331 extend bell block and I want to use my 2 speed powerglide for my tranny. If I cut some of the bell of the tranny and make a adapter plate for the Hemi will it work, if so how do I measure to know how much to cut of the tranny. And what about the input shaft? Maybe I’m way off base, need help with the project….thanks

I was leaving work today and my car was still cold and i hit the throttle in first gear not hard but enough to make it hestitate then come on for about a 1-2 second burst, no high rpm. Imediately I had a new noise that sounds…no kidding like a heat shield on a catelytic (sp?) converter came loose…except I have none. The noise is not all the time but does come up in each gear with a little rpm. No change in oil pressure or how it runs (no miss)….just a disturbing noise. How could I have…

id like to start having my daughter ride with me. shes 9 months old now, and still in a rear facing car seat. anyone see any problems using it in the front passengers side of my bench seat equipped duster? its still using the factury 2 piece shoulder/lap belt setup, so id only be running the lap belt portion.

part of me says that its ok, and part of me says “what the **** are you thinking?!?”

im looking for some under hood shots of some “survivor” or pure stock darts. mine is a 72 and i wonder about some little details, where that wire runs, that hose, what did the plug wires look like and where they ran etc. was dist cap black, hose clamps, etc. just putting it all back together and its just as easy to do it the right way first.
