Started talking to a mechanic at the dodge dealer yesterday. He's into building the Magnums. He was telling me that the lifters have to be installed with the oil hole facing up. Not a problem EXCEPT, the guy that put my engine together just dropped them into the hole, lined them up and put the retainers on. I don't think he looked one way or the other to see if the holes were up. Question is, does it make a difference? What? Engine runs strong, good oil pressure, not noise. Smokes the tires in 3 gears.... Should I bite the bullet and tear it back apart and check it or what?
