I'm gonna take the lean burn off my 76 doba's 400 but the Thermo Quad on it doesn't have a port for vacuum advance distributors. The # on the back of the carb is 9105 S. Could I use the port to the vapor canister purge port? Is that one ported vacuum?
I also have another Thermo Quad I know nothing about. I got it years ago for free. Its # is 9058 S w/ 327 5 stamped under that. It would need rebuilding. It has the port I need. I'm new to late B's and thermo quads so anyhelp is appreciated. I want to go the easy route for now. When upgrades are made, a permanent intake and carb change will be done. Probably an eddy performer intake and carb. But for now I just want a decent driver, using what I've got. Thanks guys.
