Just unearthed a Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth Shop!

Hey guys, I'm Seth. I'm new to the forum but I thought I'd introduce myself and let you know what I've got going on!

Just visited my wife's grandmother a few weeks ago in upstate New York. Her late husband use to own an authorized Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth repair shop. Before arriving at her house she told me that she had a few old parts in her garage that she'd like me to look at and see if they were worth anything. This was my first time visiting my wife's grandma's place, and I was of course pretty excited about the prospect of uncovering a few old parts that might be worth some money for her.

Here's where the story goes crazy. We arrive in her small town in the middle of nowhere upstate New York (We live in Los Angeles) and the parts that she was talking about aren't just in her garage...Her house is built OVER the old auto shop. Her garage is a GARAGE. Two 12x12 foot bays, about 2000 square feet, and LOADS (I mean loads) of car parts. NOS, tools, you-name-it. The crazy thing is, her late husband hadn't used the shop since 1986. So, everything in there has been sitting collecting 22 years of dust. (This is when I stood in the middle of the garage in awe.)

Now, don't get me wrong, the garage is not clean or pretty. But, it has more parts in bins and boxes and drawers than I could possibly count in one week. But, I started the crazy task of going through EVERYTHING.

Here is a brief list of some of the stuff so far:
Snapon Brake Lathe (Discs and drums)
Snapon Wheel Balancer
(Nostalgic) Spark Plug Cleaner
Parts cleaning bin (approx 8 gallon)
1974 Coke Machine (it works too haha)
Oxy/Acetyl Welder
3 different elec. welders
Sandblasting tank
Chrysler Diagnostic computer (2 different ones)
and of course drawers full of boxes of NOS parts and accessories

So guys, the whole point of all of this is to get a thread going of stuff that I should be looking for in all of it. (That is, stuff that you want to BUY) I am actually heading back to Los Angeles tomorrow, but I have taken a whole bunch of pictures of just about everything. I will post a photo album by Saturday of EVERY picture that I took. If you guys see something that you want, shoot me a message, I might be able to explain to grandma what it is you want in order for her to ship it out. Unfortunately, if it's something too heavy or difficult for her to ship, you are either going to have to drive to the middle of the Adirondacks in New York or wait until the spring when I am back here. Also, I know there may be some of you who just want a bulk of items. If so, send me a message. Here are just a few photos to give you an idea. http://s448.photobucket.com/albums/q...design/Garage/

(Oh, by the way...I'm not so familiar with the Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge family....so if you need me to see if she's got something, please give me a really good description or better yet a photo as an example.)

Thanks!

Seth
