i’m no salesman!!!!!!!

be forewarned, i'm rambling here!!!

i'm pretty much retired ( poor that is!). I work 3 days a week about april into maybe oct, little piddly part time job, to make a few extra $$ for parts for my little collection of early A bodies. drive 65 mi a day, for meager money. I enjoy working on old Mopars, driving them,.... I like all my cars. 5 total. (but I did sell off 1 month ago).

my passions in life have been Quarter Horses ( since a kid), and my Mopars, which really began bout '85. i'm 67, seem to have pretty good health, knees bout woreout though. I tell myself, why not sell down to 2 or 3 cars, that is sell off 2 or 3??? why get up at 4 in the a m to go work that piddly job to buy parts and materials?????? why not spend more time riding and training on my horses, which are not such money pits!???

I work on one car then another. if I run out parts or stuff for one, work on another one!! just a hobby!!! I have one completely finished ( pretty much) lol. have 2 others real close to final paint. I do my own work,....I get in no real hurry...

the point i'm getting to , is I hate selling these cars..... I hate dealing with 90 % of the people that inquire. I hate the whole process. sometimes I meet a person that I like and enjoy dealing with, but by far the exception. I have owned more than a few, and I never put more in a car than I can get back out of it. so when I price it, the car is never overpriced. not than i'm smart, screwd, or any of that , but I can say, I have never lost $$ on a Mopar.

I guess i'm not a " people person". I love talking horses and cars with those people that are into it like me,...... in general. but I hate the process of offering a car for sale.

same with my horses. I don't advertise the stud for outside mares, gave up wanting to train for the public decades ago. don't care to advertise any for sale. if I want to sell a well broke one, I simple load it up and take it to a show or competition, just ride it around and someone ask if for sale, and that's in a depressed market in general. sometimes decades of knowledge shows??????/

to load up a car and haul it to a car corral at any Mopar deal, i.e. , Nats, Carlisle, or poo dunk city, why I rather take a whipping!!!!! LOL

I warned ya, i'm rambling!
