My 1965 Formula S has a passenger side trunk prop that locks itself upon opening and unlocks itself by raising the deck lid a little bit. I see other vehicles of the same year that seem to have various manual prop rods like those used on the hoods of '80's and 90's cars. I wonder if there were more than one correct factory mechanism?
