Hated to do it but I picked up a 1989 chevy K2500 Scottsdale 4wd, 8' bed regular cab, tbi 350, 4.10's...1900. Couldnt tell you how many trucks i looked at. Hand went through the frame on one dodge, the others just good parts trucks. 2wd 318 84-86 were going for 1500, rust everywhere too. Looked at an 02 2500 dodge 4wd, the rockers were so bad that when you sat in the drivers seat it would tip to that side. He wanted 2000. exhaust manifolds looked like the would blow off if you floored it.
Cab corners were still there, rusty but there. other than the rust, it will need tires and an exhaust. Gas gauge is way off. Drove it 65 miles home. Shut off on the freeway. restarted with just enough fuel to stall again 20' from the pump. And it showed 1/4 tank. If anyones interested I'll post pics.
