For Sale: Derale (#16217) 17" Electric Fan and (#16749) Adjustable Thermostatic Fan control. FREE SHIPPING.
This is Derale's single largest high-output cooling fan. Rated at 2,400 cfm and is 2.61" thick. Can be used as pusher or puller. There are two options for mounting the fan: adjustable brackets or nylon mounting rods through the core.
The Derale deluxe adjustable fan controller with pipe-threaded probe can be installed in intake manifold, block, or WP housing. Allows fan activation to adjust between 150 and 240 degrees F. Fan controller is suitable for race and street rod applications.
I've also included a bushing required for the probe to fit Big-Block WP housings. I installed waterproof and Weather Pack connectors for easy installation and disconnects. Because of this you won't find a more "plug-n-play" installation for any A-Body. I bought it last Summer for my 440 Duster. Worked equally well as a mechanical fan on a 22" radiator but I want more cooling. There are no more than a couple of hours use so (with the exception of the terminals I installed) everything looks and functions like new. Connections are marked but original instructions are included.
FYI, I mounted the controller on the core support in front of the battery with velcro. Wiring was routed along the stock harness. Sender wire followed the harness across the firewall and along the passenger side valve cover to the WP housing.
