I needed a new crank, and the shop suggested I might as well go with a stroker crank. For price reasons, I went with the steel crank because I can't afford a penny more. We also decided to go with an Eagle crank.
Of course NOW I read how the Eagle cranks haven't been very good quality of late, so now I'm afraid I'm kind of screwed. I guess you never know?
but, is the benefits of forged over steel basically strength and weight?
I'm getting KB 107 pistons bored .60 over, so it's a pretty mild build. Should the Steel crank be fine?
what do you guys think?
Thanks!
