Swapping A/C to a non A/C car… and vise-versa

I have a 71 Demon that is a factory non A/C car. I also have a 72 Dart that has factory A/C.

How difficult would it be to swap everything out so the Demon has A/C, and the Dart will not have A/C?

Momma says that the 72 Dart must go… but I would like to get some good items from it before it goes away!

I suppose it would be a great help if I could locate a manual that would cover the removal and replacement of all of the parts I would need to swap out.

Thanks in advance!

Radiator question–which one??

When I install my new stroker I want to install a new radiator so I know $5k don’t go down the drain. I’ve looked all over and there’s several ways to go. First I like the look of the aluminum radiators but do they really cool as well as they say? Most mfg.’s claim a 2 core (although bigger cores) will out cool a conventional 4 core radiator. I can get a universal 2 core aluminum radiator with mounts for $200. Or if I would keep the stock look Portell Radiators just the other side of St. Louis…

heater fan blows weakly

So I replaced the burned out original blower motor on my 65 Barracuda(was burned out when I got the car) and it’s never blown hard at all since. In comparison to my brother’s 64 Dart, it’s less than half as powerful. High on my car is like low in his!
The only test I’ve done is to run the blower fan on high for a few minutes(I’m assuming this bypasses the resistors), heat set to cool, to see if the resistors are still getting hot. OUCH! I reached back there and touched the area where the…

A/C Hose Routing?

I’ve been planning to put A/C in my ’63 Valiant. I have all the hardware, except the hoses), to install an under dash unit. I need to know the best way to run the hoses through the firewall. Does anyone have any pics of A/C hoses under the hood of an early A-Body? I was told there are dimples to mark where the factory holes would have been routed in the 64 and later models, but I looked at a couple of ’65s and couldn’t find any. If these dimples exist does anyone have pics of them as well?
TIA!

Temp senders keep crapping out

The car is a ’62 Valiant with a 360 stuffed into it. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and of course the temp sender mounts in the intake. My temperature senders will last for about a year before they fail. I wonder why?? I’m wondering if you are supposed to use a different sender with an aluminum intake from the kind you would use in a cast iron intake or something. Or maybe I just ran into a bad batch of senders at the parts store.
