Wtb Fan switch

I believe the fan switch is bad on my 72 swinger with factory A/C. I believe it is a two speed switch. I have tried Napa and most of the restoration companies and can’t find a listing for it. I sure could use some help on this one. thanks everyone.

Heater control valve

Anybody know where to get a new “correct” heater control valve for an air conditioned 1971? Everybody (Advance, Autozone, RockAuto etc) sell a unit that I am sure is the functional equivalent, but is nowhere near being correct – appearance wise.

Best way to temporarily block off heater hoses?

Ever since I’ve owned my Valiant the windows seem to fog up or get filmy overnight. The previous owner had the same problem but didn’t even try to figure it out.

It’s more than just dirty windows, more like an oily film, so the first thing I think is heater core, however it isn’t steaming, no anti-freeze smell and no coolant loss.

i see no mounting provisions on the back side of it.

new old car needs a/c

just got a 69 dart custom, with what looks like factory a/c. the only component that i think is missing is the box that mounts under the dash with the vents. I pushed the MAX AC button and i could hear and feel air but it wasnt cold and there wasn’t much volume of air. what can i do to check the a/c system myself without having to waste some freon? Oh when i push the button for a/c i don’t hear the compressor making any noises like the sound it makes when it clicks on and off. could it just…

its time to seperate the mopar men from the boys

the small switch located on the side of the evaporator core. it has a tube running to the core. it probably is the cut off switch to monitor the temp and not let it get too hot or cold (freeze up) so. will the air work without it? will it get too cold and freeze up, or stay too warm and not cool enough, or have no or little effect at all. so… what do you think and what do you KNOW> ?? im asking cause i don’t know.
