I decided to convert my 73 Dart Swinger from AC to heat only so have been searching the forums and have discovered a lot of helpful info but now I’m stuck. I picked up a heater box reportedly from a 69 Dart and realized that it has three control doors. Temperature, shut-off, and defrost. That all works great when matched up with the control for that year. I separately picked up a control for a non-AC 73 Dart that has provisions for only two cables. I have a 1970 swinger 360 short block from mopar, edelbrock rpm heads have a be cool aluminum radiator with electric fan and a march pulley serpentine belt system. I just swapped in this radiator hoping it would cure my cooling problems.I also am running the eight blade hi flow mopar water pump.Engine still overheats in traffic but as soon as i take off it starts to cool down almost instantly especially if i take of fast. also was wondering if anyone has clearance issues between the radiator…

I’ve been looking at some aftermarket radiators like the Be-Cool Qualifier. Has anyone ever used any of these? Good- Bad?

While doing my engine swap, we retained the same stock rad and I noticed after re-installation that the shroud doesn’t fit quite well. It looks like the previous owner replaced the stock shroud with an ill-fitting unit.

Would anyone know where to source a shroud for a small block stock rad? I spent so much time cleaning and painting that damn shroud only to find out it didn’t fit. 😛

my vent and Def work but my a/c makes no sound when i switch it to a/c and my heater you can hear the vents open but it doesn’t get warm….
