I am pretty new to the SD area and Summer is almost here! I am itching to see some of these So Cal cars. Anyone from the area have any suggestions to good shows that I could enter my car and hang out casually? I’m not one for competitive showings but like to check out other people’s cars and talk it up with other car lovers. I love car shows, especially ones with cold beer. And those car girls in skimpy outfits leaning on cars. But mostly cars and good company.

I have been away for a bit. I ended up selling my Valiant this summer for a few reasons and I just needed to take some time. Though what I have found is that I have missed you guys and my car, even though it was not running. So I am thinking of getting another car most likely a Barracuda this time 64 or 65. I was in a local hobby store today and spotted this 1/6-scale replica, over 28″ long. Pics don’t do it justice as it’s gorgeous.
This is #19 of only 300 that were made. Price tag is $1800. I told the owner I’ll be sticking to smaller scales since the $1800 is better spent on the build of my ’69 Dart.
