I’m trying to weld my Axle Tubes, and yes I’m trying to pinch pennies where I can to help save for that “GAS” that the Dart will eventually be sucking down. Is there a way to get the tubes aligned for welding without spending a small fortune on a Jig?

At an idle my volt gage reads to the negative a bit but when I increase the idle the volt reading goes positive, am I not charging correctly? Belt is tight and no slipping.

I’m not real sure of the physical differeence in the heads for a 413 62 model heads. The compression varied depending on the motor. One was 13.5 and the other was 11. Does any of you know where one could see a pic of heads in question lying side by side, top and bottom so that i might become better educated before i start spending my money on something that isn’t the real thing.
