so, with the current engine build i’m going with, the compression ratio is supposed to be a whisker under 10:1 and this isnt a big deal because I’m not going to drive it daily but it got me wondering on what I should do as far as my fuel is concerned.

I figured that I could just get the premium grade at the gas station then dump in some additive, but i read that octane boosters can only raise the level so much especially when you initially start out with a higher octane….so, what’s a guy to…

Just about done converting my console auto to console 4-speed (’69 cuda). I’m wondering whether it’s better to order the console carpet strips along with the floor carpet for another $50, or just cut my own from some extra material I have? Any advice is much appreciated – thanks!

I have a set of “645” 360 rods. I was given them by a motor head who’s into Chevy’s. He said tak’em, you know I don’t needed them or they become fish weights. OK, mine. Free of charge. He said something awhile back about them being floaters. Doesn’t sound stock.

My question is, on balanceing them, what would one expect to pay for balancing rods?
What have you paid in external balancing the entire assembly?

They need to have some work done on them since they have the lightest coat of rust on…

I picked up a nice 67 dart. I am doing a full rebuild of the car and have gotten started on this past week. The car turned out to be completly rust free and in overall very good shape.

Howdy guys (and girls),

I’m currenty attempting to re-wire my 72 Demon due to current economic situation, (I just don’t have any extra $ right now and don’t see any relief soon). I bought a track only 72 Demon and am returning it to a steet car and am close to being finished. I was hoping to sub out the wiring to a professional, but just dont have any extra funds now.
