First Car Wtb-’60-62 Lancer/valiant 2-dr.

😀 My youngest son has decided he wants a ’60-’62 Lancer,or Valiant 2-dr for his first car. I want him to have a mopar for his first car,,,I know, you either love ’em or hate ’em, (the ’60-’62’s that is) he loves ’em though.

At Chryslers at Carlisle last week, my wife ordered a Tremec 5 speed kit from this company. They said that they would e-mail for order completion, but we have heard nothing yet. When we try to call, all we get is “mailbox full”.

Does anyone know about this company?

1969 Carter AVS

The stock AVS carb on my 340 is flooding out. I had it rebuilt by a friend who is a retired race engine builder, and former NASCAS crew chief. I trust his work, but…..
Anyway, the car starts fine and runs smooth for a few seconds. Then, it starts to stumble like it has a HUGE cam installed. I can easily keep it running if I keep my foot on the pedal, but after shut down, gas pools in the secondary venturies.

Trim Rings and caps-14″ SBP

I bought the trim rings and center caps at Spring Carlisle 08. The trim rings are fully polished and fit right to the center of the rally wheel. Center caps are light argent. Decided to go with the mag style wheel covers instead. Parts are all like new, had them on the car for about 2 weeks while it sat in the shop. Oh almost forgot they are SBP centers-$350 for the set

Master cylinders for sale

I just finished installing a power brake conversion on the Dart and have 2 master cylinders now for sale.
The first is brand new,it came with the kit from Master Power brake. It’s for power disc brakes, 1 1/32 piston, 1/2 and 9/16 fittings. It’s an aftermarket mc that is US made but is not Raybestos (this is what I put on the car and will use the box for shipping)-$60

The seconds MC is for manual disc brakes and has a recent seal kit installed. I have the push rod if you need a spare-$40

How do I pull Instrument Cluster?

Well, that pretty much sums it up. I’m trying to pull all the fake wood grain trim on the dash to paint it and possibly make a new gauge panel. I cant seem to get the gauge cluster to come out from the dash frame. Any tips before I break something?
